It was a glorious day…..

Our August meeting held on the 24 th was such a beautiful day. We opened up the doors of the hall so that we had a view of the dogs and their owners on the oval and set up the room for a busy afternoon of sewing.
I always love catching up with my Quilty friends. ” What are you working on today?” is always the important question. Show and tell is a favourite part of the meeting for everyone.

Laura made two quilts for twin girls. Look at that quilting !

Wendy was hard at work with her EPP. Isn’t it pretty?

Michelle’s Spiderweb Quilt in Liberty Tana Lawn. Lots of compliments for this beautiful quilt. Michelle is not sure wether this quilt will ever get used, or be for display purposes only!

Karen pondering the block layout for her Amy Butler “Turning twenty” quilt.

We were treated to another one of Laura’s demonstrations. All the details for this free motion quilt along is on the website. Lots of keen quilters!

Thank you everyone for a lovely afternoon. See you all again next month. (Last Sunday of the month)
One final photo of the star that Beryl was working on.
