Online shops we love

Although we love visiting our local shops, sometimes it’s great to shop from the comfort of your own home. We are excited to also have partnerships with these online treasures, with discounts available especially to our members.

The Cloth Pocket
The Cloth Pocket is a bitty ‘lil shop in Austin, Texas, but they aim to supply an ever-refreshed, carefully curated stock of textiles for use in quilting, crafting, & apparel.  Their taste inclines toward the more modern styles, so if that’s what you’re looking for, you’ve come to the right place! Knowing that a lot of you delightful shoppers are quilters, they also try to keep in mind what sorts of prints you need to complete your project in the most unique way possible! Nicole loves MQG members so much, she is very generously offering us a 20% discount in her shop!  Ask a committee member for the code.

The Cotton Factory

Cotton Factory is a small, community focused Sewing Studio, located in Ballarat, Victoria.  They run a range of fantastic classes – all with a modern slant to quilting and craft. Their online store offers unique supplies, and lots of wonderfully modern, fresh (and sometimes quirky) fabrics that you won’t find everywhere. They work hard to source and support Australian Designers, and also work closely with a number of international designers, whose names will be well known to you.  Alison is supplying PMQG members with their very own 10% discount code to be used when shopping online.  Ask a committee member for the code.

Lady Belle Fabric
Lady Belle Fabric is owned and operated by husband and wife team, Rob and Brooke Becker. Brooke spent some of her childhood in Australia, but she has found her way into the southern hills of Tennessee. All of their fabrics are handpicked and cut up into bundles that are fresh, fun, and modern. Their goal is to bring to you gorgeous lines of fabric that are ready to go for your next project and then get them to you as quickly as they can. PMQG members are being offered a 10% discount code to be used when shopping online. Ask a committee member for the code.

Polka Dot Tea
Polka Dot Tea Fabrics is owned by Jeanette and Danielle, based in country NSW and Canberra. They are both quilters and their main focus is on quality fabrics, including some that are a little harder to find but sought after by modern quilters, such as those by Japanese manufacturers Kei, Yuwa, Daiwabo and Lecien. Recently they have also been building up their stock of Art Gallery ranges. PMQG members are being offered a 10% discount code to be used when shopping online (excluding Liberty Club, vouchers, or on top of other discounts which may apply). Ask a committee member for the code to use on their Etsy shop, or if you order through Instagram, Facebook or email, just let them kn
ow that you are a member.
