Once upon a time…

Once upon a time, a group of princesses got together and decided to start a quilt group. The quilt group needed a logo, so they consulted a sprite made of vapour, known as Erin-the-invisible, who made one up. An evil witch cast a spell upon Erin-the-invisible, dooming her to never make a meeting and continually question her design. But a couple of handsome princes worked their magic on the logo and all the princesses sighed as these arrived.

But this was not enough! A meeting of the Queendom was convened, and armed with the magic instructions from Elizabeth Hartman’s Billboard Quilt, all the people of the realm brought along fabrics and worked on letters, buildings and the like.

Queen Janine pieced and pinned the banner and appliqued the magic letters to the background.

Laura of the flying needle employed some magically invisible Aurifil and the services of Bev the binder to bring out the buildings.

She did go just a leeetle mad with the FMQing.

And in the end, all the people of the realm rejoiced!
