February’s second meetup was fantastic! We met again at the EJ Scout Hall in South Perth and, despite another hitch (no power for the first 15 minutes – we will get over these teething problems!) we all got sorted with our sewing and sharing…
Laura unveiled the first Modern Block – lemons and limes – see her earlier post for details.
Catherine blew us away with her amazing hand pieced (what do you call this?) quilt.

Lurline’s low volume scrapy quilt was the envy of all. Lurline is an amazing modern quilter and blogs over at Lurline’s Place.
Emmy wowed us with her quilt label and we all fell in love with her Babushkas.
And last but not least, the Starry Quilt brought a little more sparkle to show-n-tell. I think it was Sheila’s but I need to take notes to remember these things!
The next meeting will be on Saturday March 23rd, in lieu of our usual last Sunday of the month as that is Easter Sunday. Yes ladies, that’s Saturday March 23.
