On Saturday, a convoy of quilty ladies set off to Bunbury on an adventure…destination Craft Collections. We were warmly welcomed by Glynnis and her team and introduced to the tea and coffee facilities and most wonderfully – freshly baked muffins! What great country hospitality.
We were also welcomed by this sumptuous sight:
So much fabric! So many fat quarter bundles! Books! Patterns! Notions! *sigh*
After an initial frenzy of shopping everyone settled down to do some sewing, discuss ideas and to admire the lovely quilts, which hung in the workspace.
Glynnis was the perfect hostess, tending to our every need and whim during our time in her shop. She even supplied a surprise door prize for us – a pack of Tilda goodies, which Sheila won. Hope you enjoy it Sheila!
After a good few hours of sewing, chatting and shopping we left promising to return and headed off to the Moody Cow Brewery for lunch, where there was more time for chatting over a glass of something locally brewed.
After which everyone went their separate ways.
