My February BOM will be donated to:
Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research
Some of you may be aware, my first husband had Leukaemia. It is 18 years since my husband died…. I would like to raise more awareness and some much needed funds for medical research. On my bike ride that I went on (The Ride to Conquer Cancer – 217km!) 3 of my fellow team mates have Leukaemia, they are all kept alive by drugs.
So, I hope you will help me make a block and I will sew them all together and I’ll be donating it to the Harry Perkins Institute.
So, lets get started!
This is the block I have made – yes Laura, I thought about low volume and this is what I came up with. I would love all bright feel good fabrics please, it’s for people to look at and make them feel happy –you know the fabric I’m talking about!!!!!
It has 4 small blocks
4 ¼ x 5 ½
I started a fantastic tutorial, then I figured I would be better off using the one already done on the internet I found – she has better pics than me!
I reduced the pattern to 50%. Please check the pattern for the “E” block as Jodie notes she made a mistake in her sample.
