Let’s get going with wonky star sewing!
The best bit first – choose your fabrics. With this one I decided to have the star all the same colour, so only two fabric choices.
I like to cut and lay out everything first. That way I know there is nothing missing when I start to sew. What a messy cutting table.
Sew.
Cut.

Lay out,, ready to sew together. It’s looking good.
Three rows of three. Iron the seams in alternating opposite directions so that the seams interlock when pinned for sewing.
Pinned, interlocking seams! What a lovely fit.
Voila!
Or this way with six different fabric choices. What a gorgeous wonky star! For all the instructions on this one you will need to check out Modern Blocks, 99 Quilt Blocks From Your Favourite Designers. This one is called Parisian Star and is designed by Leanne Cohen.
Too easy. Have fun!
